The company fosters an open, collaborative, and family-oriented culture with a strong emphasis on work-life balance, along with a competitive performance-based bonus structure.

Company Profile:

Our client is a rapidly growing global provider of collaboration technology and managed services. The company partners with leading technology brands to deliver deployment, adoption, maintenance, and ongoing management support, helping organizations maximize the value of platforms such as Microsoft, Zoom, and Google.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Finance Director will lead financial operations while helping unify financial systems, reporting, controls, and processes across entities, regions, and business units. This hands-on strategic leadership role is ideal for someone who can support rapid growth, strengthen financial discipline, and translate complex operational activity into clear, actionable financial insight.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance Leadership & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary U.S. finance lead within a multi-entity international structure.
  • Lead financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial models to support rapid growth.
  • Provide the executive team and stakeholders with clear, actionable financial insights.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including auditors, banks, tax advisors, and international accounting firms.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and international financial regulations.
  • Implement and optimize scalable financial systems, tools, and processes.
  • Support ongoing post-merger planning, including unified controls, workflows, audits, and governance.
  • Provide financial oversight across approximately nine legal entities, with the potential addition of one to two additional entities as the company expands.

Strategic Planning & Business Partnership

  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help prepare the company for its next stage of growth, including potential expansion, acquisitions, or investment opportunities.
  • Champion a positive, fun, and high-performance company culture.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings across the company.

Systems, Controls & Process Improvement

  • Manage project-based financial activity, including job costing, project profitability, margin analysis, and revenue recognition.
  • Build dashboards or executive reporting packages that clearly show cash flow, backlog, profitability, utilization, and operating performance.
  • Integrate finance systems, chart of accounts, controls, and reporting practices following an acquisition or merger.
  • Working knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, international coordination, and consolidated reporting.
  • Partner with operations leaders to translate field activity, project schedules, labor utilization, and service delivery data into financial insight.
  • Lead the combining of accounting functions across acquired companies.
  • Work with the current business systems environment, including Zoho, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Salesforce.
  • Support the planned consolidation of the company's CRM and related finance data alignment.
  • Lead or support alignment of the chart of accounts as part of ongoing company-wide integration and transformation initiatives.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Timely, accurate, and consistent financial reporting across entities and business units.
  • Clear executive visibility into cash flow, profitability, backlog, utilization, and operating performance.
  • Improved financial controls, scalable systems, and standardized reporting practices.
  • Strong partnership with operations leaders to connect project activity with financial outcomes.
  • Confident support for post-merger integration and continued company growth.

Requirements

Must Have Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, accounting, FP&A, controllership, or related roles
  • Proven experience managing and analyzing P&L performance; legitimate P&L management experience is required.
  • Prior hands-on experience with U.S. accounting practices and U.S. GAAP is required, including familiarity with U.S. financial reporting, month-end close, and applicable compliance expectations.
  • Proven M&A and post-merger integration experience, including involvement in integrating accounting functions of acquired companies.
  • Experience supporting or working with a U.S.-based company, particularly in a multi-entity or international environment
  • Experience with project-based accounting, including project costing, profitability, margin analysis, and/or revenue recognition.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to build scalable systems and processes.
  • Hands-on, adaptable leadership style suited to a dynamic, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-growing technology or services company is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within a small, lean finance organization.
  • Experience working across multiple legal entities within a global organization.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Zoho, Salesforce, or comparable business systems is an advantage.
  • Experience identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives, including system consolidation and chart of accounts alignment.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent credentials are preferred but not required unless determined necessary based on final role scope.

Additional Role Clarifications

  • This role leans toward strategic finance and financial operations, with accounting oversight as a key component.
  • U.S. taxation experience is helpful but not expected to be the primary focus of the role. The Finance Director is expected to coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting partners rather than manage complex tax matters independently.
  • Experience with accounting, ERP, reporting, or financial planning systems is preferred. Specific system requirements may be finalized based on the current and future finance technology stack.
  • Immediate priorities include producing high-quality financial information, providing financial insights related to the integration of the newly acquired company, identifying cost-saving opportunities across the organization, and supporting the continued integration of the company's finance and accounting functions.
  • Within the first 12 months, the Finance Director is expected to provide reliable financial information and actionable business insights, support the integration of the newly acquired company, and identify opportunities for cost savings across the organization.
  • The role may support entity setup, financial structure, local accounting coordination, or compliance planning in the Philippines and potentially other countries as the company expands.
  • Travel expectations, if any, are expected to be limited and based on business needs, leadership meetings, entity setup requirements, or major integration initiatives.
