A2R (Account-to-Report) Intern

A2R Intern – Overview
As an A2R (Account-to-Report) Intern at NCR Atleos, you’ll gain exposure to core accounting and financial operations within a global organization, with a focus on Accounts Receivable subledger activities and period-end close processes.
This internship provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting processes, while working closely with experienced finance professionals. You will support day-to-day A2R activities and contribute to ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in A2R activities related to the Accounts Receivable subledger.
Support period-end and month-end close processes.
Help prepare and post basic accounting adjustments under supervision.
Assist in reconciliations between subledger and General Ledger.
Analyze discrepancies and support issue resolution.
Monitor basic system processes and escalate issues when needed.
Support preparation of reports and financial documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AR, Cash Application, Treasury).
Maintain documentation of processes and accounting activities.
Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g. AR, reconciliations).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic data analysis).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and develop in a global finance setting.
