This position reports to:
Service Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

This role is contributing to the {Electrification} in {Jordan}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MV/LV switchgear.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABB products, including ZS1, ZS2, GIS, ZX1.2, circuit breakers, and protection relays.
- Execute / manage switchgear expansion, modification, upgrade, and retrofit activities.
- Good knowledge of ABB protection relays, testing skills using secondary injection/ primary ..etc. control circuits, and interlocking.
- Maintain a high level of HSE awareness and comply with ABB safety and quality requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating site activities and project execution.
- Resolve technical and site issues and coordinate with engineering teams when required.
- Prepare and manage test reports and technical documentation.
- Provide customer technical support and training when required.
- Report site progress, deviations, and technical issues to the Project Manager.
Qualifications for the role
- 5+years of experience in a similar role
- Electrical Engineering background with strong hands-on field experience in MV/LV switchgear, protection systems, testing, commissioning, retrofit, and service projects.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites and travel as required.
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
