As a Fabric+Pyspark+SQL - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering data engineering solutions within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. You will work directly with clients, leveraging your skills to transform complex data into actionable insights. Within our Data Modernisation practice, you will utilize your knowledge of cloud engineering and analytics to drive innovative solutions that meet client needs.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client relationships and navigating complex situations to deliver quality work. You will mentor junior team members, guiding them through ambiguity and fostering their growth. Your role involves analyzing complex problems and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, which is essential for anticipating client needs and delivering impactful solutions.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance data modernization efforts. Your contributions will be integral to advancing our Data, Analytics & AI initiatives, helping clients achieve their strategic objectives through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow and Directed Acrylic Graphs (DAGs)
- Implementing data integration and transformation processes with Azure Data Factory and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
- Optimizing database performance and query execution using PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Designing and managing data architecture and infrastructure to support data warehousing and analytics
- Building and managing data lakes and data warehouses, including Snowflake Data Warehouse and Snowflake Schema
- Validating data quality and security through data anonymization and database security best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data strategy and data engineering platforms
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based data solutions and agile scalability
- Applying analytical thinking and creativity to solve complex data challenges and improve data models
- Supporting client engagements by providing technical guidance and data engineering expertise

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
