About this Engineer II role at Nexperia
Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining and improving Die Attach / Die Bond equipment to ensure smooth production, high machine uptime, and product quality in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain Die Attach / Die Bond machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
Monitor equipment performance and drive improvement activities.
Support machine setup, qualification, and new product introductions (NPI).
Work closely with Production, Quality, and Process Engineering teams to achieve production targets.
Analyze equipment data and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment engineering.
Experience with Die Attach / Die Bond equipment is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or 8D is an advantage.
