The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $113,600-$170,400 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Resource Management
- Manage direct reports including supervisors, foremen, and crews
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and bi-weekly 1:1 meetings
- Lead hiring and interviewing activities
- Manage manpower planning, headcount forecasting, and workforce allocation
- Approve employee timecards and expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Plan and manage daily/weekly installation activities to meet project milestones
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics pre-commissioning activities
- Perform cost reviews and track installation financial performance
- Prepare and review quotes, RFQs, and bid packages
- Support Sales (SDG) with estimates and customer-driven solutions
- Forecast monthly installation costs and maintain reporting tools
- Schedule subcontractors and issue contract labor requests
- Manage subcontractor communication and performance tracking
- Order materials, consumables, and equipment rentals
- Track equipment inventory and ensure resource availability
- Support procurement, PM, Site Manager, and Supervisors with:
- Extra Work Authorizations (EWA)
- Change Order (CO) management
- Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers, and customers
- Participate in project review meetings and post-mortem reviews
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in installation practices
- Support and resolve escalations; escalate to Director when required
- Enforce Dematic installation standards, processes, and procedures
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
- Maintain installation management and PMC tools
- Provide financial tracking, forecasting, and project reporting
- Monitor subcontractor updates and provide regular status communications
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen funnel participation
- Identify and implement process and procedure improvements
- Support operational efficiency initiatives and best practices
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong financial and cost management understanding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and installation/project management tools
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
Experience Desired
- Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience with material handling systems required
- Experience with AGVs, AS/RS, and conveyors strongly preferred
Education & Certifications
- Associate’s degree or 1–2 years of vocational/technical training preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
