As part of our EDM Managed Services function, you will collaborate with colleagues across regions to monitor service flows, resolve data issues, support clients, and uphold robust operational and control standards. The role offers exposure to a wide range of asset classes, datasets, and technologies, as well as opportunities to develop technical expertise, deepen domain knowledge, and grow responsibility over time.

EDM Pipeline Operations Manager
At this managerial level, this role offers broad accountability for service quality, operational performance, and team effectiveness at a regional level. You will shape how services are delivered, act as a senior escalation point for clients and stakeholders, and lead teams through operational challenges and change. This is an opportunity to combine deep domain expertise with leadership responsibility, driving sustainable service excellence and contributing to the strategic direction of the Managed Services function.
What You Will Do
Training, Procedures & Professional Standards
- Ensure operational standards, procedures, and runbooks are maintained, reviewed, and updated at least annually.
Service Delivery & Regional Performance
- Take accountability for service delivery, ensuring KPIs are consistently met.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operational performance, ensuring exceptions and outstanding items are closed within agreed timelines.
- Maintain clear performance and capacity metrics to support planning and efficiency initiatives.
Exceptions & Data Quality Oversight
- Provide the Global Head of EDM with oversight of complex or high‑risk exceptions.
- Become directly involved in priority operational issues where required.
Client & Stakeholder Escalation (RSD)
- Act as the senior management escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clear, timely communication on issues, impact, and next steps.
Incident Management & Governance
- Review, sign off, and report on incident reports where root cause relates to regional operations.
- Ensure incident learnings and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
Controls, Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Monitor and ensure robustness of operational controls across the region.
- Uphold high standards of operational discipline and audit readiness.
Reporting & Management Insight
- Ensure regional performance and capacity reporting is accurate, meaningful, and supports decision‑making.
Resource Management & Leadership
- Ensure effective allocation of team members to maintain full production coverage, including holidays and peak periods.
- Perform people‑leadership responsibilities, including coaching, motivation, and performance support.
Handover, Change & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee regional and global handovers to ensure continuity of service.
- Oversee product or project handovers into Production.
- Support operational improvement and efficiency initiatives across teams.
Who are you:
- Strategic understanding of EDM Services and client value, used to guide prioritization, escalation decisions, and service direction.
- Deep understanding of EDM services and the value they deliver to clients.
- Strong knowledge of data ingestion, processing, and the underlying datasets used across the investment landscape.
- Leverages tooling and metrics drive oversight, prioritization, and governance decisions.
- Owns regional coordination, ensuring seamless follow‑the‑sun operations and stakeholder alignment
- Experience mentoring colleagues or providing SME guidance in a specialist domain.

Requirements:
- At least 8+ years in management roles, preferably in investment management or operational services.
- Proven track record in managing operational processes and leading multi-functional teams.
- Experience in overseeing data management, including ETF, Indices, operational data sets including Pricing, Security Reference Data, and managed Data Services
- Experience in handling intraday SLAs with high volumes
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams and maintaining operational excellence.
- Strong people management skills, with proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Amenable to work on hybrid set up, APAC or EMEA shift and can do 2-3x a week RTO.
