JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with suppliers, payers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate authorizations and resolve coverage barriers that may delay equipment delivery
- Communicate patient needs to suppliers and external case managers
- Provide clear, practical guidance on interactions/coordination between suppliers and patients/families
- Ensure all documentation meets payer, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Advocate for patient choice and serve as a central liaison between patients, families, suppliers, payers, case managers, and clinical teams to facilitate timely access to prescribed equipment
- Provide timely updates regarding equipment status, barriers, and anticipated delivery timelines to clinical and case management teams
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing education
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
- Other duties as assigned
