What You Will Do

Lead the spatial data capability

  • Define and evolve spatial data standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

  • Create repeatable processes for data quality, stewardship, audit readiness, and consistency.

  • Drive alignment across clients, tools, regions, and service delivery models.

Apply spatial data through a business lens

  • Translate spatial data discipline into practical business value for clients and the practice.

  • Improve reporting integrity, implementation quality, scalability, and decision support.

  • Use spatial and occupancy data to support predictive, data-driven decisions based on current occupancy models.

  • Optimize, implement, and manage advanced spatial systems that measure utilization and align workplace environments to business needs, helping increase operational effectiveness and productivity.

  • Help assess where modernization—including emerging AI opportunities—may improve workflows, reporting, or client value.

Partner with technology teams

  • Work closely with technology teams to support workplace technology implementations, re-implementations, and ongoing enablement.

  • Translate business needs into data, process, and platform requirements.

  • Help ensure data standards and governance align to implementation realities.

Modernize methods and delivery

  • Refresh and document playbooks, methodologies, process maps, and guidance related to space allocation, planning, audits, utilization, and live occupancy.

  • Build practical frameworks that improve repeatability, quality, and consistency across the practice.

  • Drive disciplined, constructive conversations about process, accountability, decision rights, and consistency to improve service delivery at scale.

Support clients and practice growth

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on spatial data integrity and modern space management practices.

  • Partner with clients to connect occupancy, utilization, and planning data to strategic workplace and portfolio decisions.

  • Contribute to thought leadership, reusable content, and practice development efforts.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen service delivery and support client growth.

What We Are Looking For

  • Significant experience in Spatial Data Management, workplace data, occupancy data, or related space management disciplines.

  • Strong experience in data governance, data consistency, stewardship, standards development, and quality control.

  • Experience applying data discipline through a business lens, including the ability to connect technical or operational work to business and client outcomes.

  • Experience partnering with technology teams to support system implementation, platform enablement, or business-to-technology translation.

  • Experience supporting workplace, occupancy, reservation, IWMS, or related workplace technology platforms.

  • Strong client-facing communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Experience creating playbooks, methodologies, standards, process documentation, or best-practice content.

  • A genuine appreciation for documentation and the discipline required to create clear, scalable, and reusable standards, workflows, and guidance.

  • Comfort leading direct, thoughtful, and sometimes hard conversations about process, governance, accountability, and ways of working.

  • Experience using occupancy, utilization, or spatial data to support forecasting, planning, and real estate decision-making.

  • Ability to influence across functions and help mature a growing capability area.

  • Ability to work effectively across regions, cultures, and time zones in support of a globally connected practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more major occupancy, reservation, IWMS, or space management platforms.

  • Experience supporting re-implementation or workplace modernization efforts.

  • Experience developing thought leadership content, case studies, or practice materials.

  • Familiarity with evolving technology trends impacting workplace platforms and data requirements, including an interest in how AI may influence workflows and service delivery.

  • Experience supporting growth initiatives, proposal coordination, or operational enablement.

  • Experience supporting global or multi-region clients, teams, or service delivery models.

Leadership Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can connect strong spatial data discipline to measurable business value.

You bring credibility across business and technology teams, are comfortable in client-facing environments, and can move effectively between strategy and execution.

You know how to create structure where work is fragmented, improve consistency at scale, translate business needs into practical solutions, and use documentation and disciplined process conversations to drive lasting change.
