Pay Range

£50,000 to £60,000

Working Hours/Pattern: 

Full-time, although we would be happy to consider applicants who are looking to work on a part time basis. What is the role about? 

The Digital Solution Lead will lead the implementation and transition to live service of the North Sea Jobs digital solution, acting as the primary delivery lead for the digital workstream. The role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end digital implementation lifecycle, coordinating suppliers, technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring operational readiness for go-live, and leading supplier performance and continuous improvement during the early live service phase.
 

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the implementation and mobilisation of the North Sea Jobs digital solution from contract award through to live service.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for two external digital suppliers.
  • Hold suppliers accountable for agreed deliverables, milestones and service commitments.
  • Monitor supplier performance, risks and dependencies throughout implementation.
  • Work with internal IT, Security, Data, Infrastructure and Operational teams to define and deliver system integrations to ensure milestones and delivery outcomes are achieved
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, design reviews and technical assurance activities.
  • Maintain oversight of technical dependencies and associated risks
  • Lead technical and business readiness assessments covering people, process, technology, communications and operational support.
  • Facilitate go-live planning and transition activities to ensure a controlled service launch.
  • Identify, assess and manage programme and operational risks
  • Build strong relationships across operational, implementation, technical and leadership teams.
  • Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Support organisational change activities to maximise adoption and operational readiness.
  • Manage supplier performance post go-live.
  • Monitor service KPIs.
  • Drive issue resolution.
  • Lead service reviews
  • Support the transition to business-as-usual operations and continuous improvement activities post go-live.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with: 

  • Experience in delivering high performing digital workstreams within a complex and evolving environment. 

  • Strong experience of managing third-party suppliers (vendors) and technology partners, including demonstrable knowledge of managing digital suppliers through contract management and commercial practices.  

  • Demonstratable knowledge of working with technical and business stakeholders in the design and delivery of complex solutions. Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder environments. 

  • Strong project planning, governance and risk management skills. 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills. 

Essential criteria 

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering digital products/solutions through implementation and go-live. 

  • Experience of managing programme risks, issues and dependencies. 

  • Knowledge of business readiness, change management and service transition principles. 

  • Experience working with technical, operational and commercial stakeholders. 

  • Strong understanding of compliance, information governance and operational assurance requirements. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma. 

  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage OR International Equivalents
