Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Dietary Cook to join our dietary services team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting and is committed to providing residents with high-quality, nutritious meals that meet therapeutic dietary requirements.

Dietary Cook (SNF Experience Preferred)

Full-Time | Split Shift (2 Days AM / 2 Days PM)

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and therapeutic diet guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions, physician orders, and food safety standards.

• Maintain proper food storage, sanitation, and infection control procedures.

• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and care team to support resident satisfaction and nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• Previous Dietary Cook experience in a SNF, post-acute, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare environment preferred.

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, texture-modified diets, and food safety regulations.

• Ability to work scheduled AM and PM shifts.

• ServSafe Certification preferred.

• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills.
