Job Title: Dietary Aide (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $18.90 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, various hours across the week and weekend

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals to our residents/guests while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position offers flexible part-time hours with shifts available during the week and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation under the direction of the Dietary Manager or Cook.

  • Set up dining rooms with necessary tableware, utensils, and condiments.

  • Serve meals and beverages accurately according to specific dietary plans and restrictions.

  • Clear tables and transport dishes back to the kitchen area for cleaning.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment ensuring all sanitation standards are strictly met.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including countertops, floors, and storage areas.

  • Dispose of trash and recycle materials according to facility protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in food service or a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.

  • Knowledge of basic sanitation and food safety practices.

  • Ability to read, write, and follow spoken instructions.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
