Pay: $17.48–$17.50 per hour, based on experience

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a dependable and caring Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team! Help create a positive dining experience for our residents while supporting their comfort, nutrition, and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and serving meals according to approved menus and resident dietary needs.
  • Assemble meal trays, ensuring correct portions, beverages, and utensils.
  • Follow diet instructions and food safety procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and dining areas.
  • Assist with storing deliveries and organizing food and supplies.
  • Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to support resident needs.
  • Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness and respect.

Qualifications

  • Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and follow food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a busy kitchen and assist with standing, lifting, and moving supplies.
  • A commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.
