  • Excellent Benefits, Including Medical, Dental, Vision, & More
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Accrue two weeks of PTO during your first year
  • 401K with Company Match

As a Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic, you will:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty work trucks and equipment, including diesel engines, chassis, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and related components.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues and accurately identify the cause of failures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, including inspections, fluid and filter services, lubrication, brake and suspension work, tire replacement, cooling system maintenance, and other component repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including PTO-driven systems, pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, using a structured approach to identify wiring, power, sensor, and component issues.
  • Complete repairs safely and efficiently, using professional tools and following manufacturer and company procedures.
  • Document work thoroughly and accurately through electronic work orders, including diagnostics performed, repairs completed, parts used, and additional work recommended.
  • Communicate with the Service Manager and team regarding diagnoses, repair needs, parts, and any issues that require additional support.
  • Continue developing technical skills through company training, manufacturer resources, and hands-on coaching.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What are the qualifications that we're looking for?

  • 4+ years' experience with hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses
