LOB Description:

As a member of Windows DevOps team, the person will be responsible for Deployment, Middleware and Environment Management for Lower-Level test Environment. Keeping the test environments pristine as production alike as possible. Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Team lead for DevOps team managing (FTE, onshore\offshore contractors)
  • Manage day to day activities for Workplace Benefits and Personal Retirements Technology (WBPRT)
  • Liaison with CIO Dev teams, Delivery managers on Project deliverables and provide status for the team
  • Liaison with Release Management team on release deliverables and provide status for the team
  • Host daily morning sync up call with onshore & offshore teams to review status, deliverables, issues, and priority of work
  • Good communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and adjust to changing priorities
  • Keep up with emails and reply in timely manner
  • Actively monitor Jira requests and assign unassigned Jiras and close after work is complete
  • Deep understanding of Horizon toolset, Merlin, Ansible, etc.
  • Well versed in Windows 2022, 2025, IIS, .Net and able to troubleshoot issues
  • Able to work after hours and on weekends to support monthly releases, Mythos patching and EMRs
  • Work closely with Technology Infrastructure Teams, Development & Testing Teams in supporting Integrated / Independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, server upgrades, etc.
  • Performs troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills. Conducts root cause analysis for incidents and problems including single user and branch issues escalated by Advisory users
  • Able to partner and build subject matter expert teams to identify cause and resolution to escalations where root cause/issue is caused by technology supported by partner teams
  • Provides monitoring of the environment during release or independent change and tracks changes to the production environment
  • Looks for areas of improvement in environment stability, and speed of determining root cause
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot performance and software issues
  • Managing changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environments
  • Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Must be willing to work after hours and weekends to support release changes
  • Defect triage of issues in the application testing environments
  • Deployment of code and/or retrofit of production code
  • Rebuilding Servers
  • Working side by side with testers and developers to ensure all are working cohesively.

Job Description:
This job is responsible for configuring complex software delivery automation. Key responsibilities include ensuring software deployments are configured to meet access, ownership, and authentication standards, providing technical direction within a functional domain, modifying code for software deployment automation, and overseeing software promotion pipelines for complex/high availability applications following Continuous Delivery practices. Job expectations include the ability to integrate development, testing practices, software delivery tools, and runtime application standards at the bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentors and clarifies issues and practices for DevOps Engineers by decomposing more complex tasks into actionable work units and deliverables and assigning the work units to an individual or teams of DevOps Engineers
  • Responds to escalated events or issues from DevOps Engineers and creates issues and action-plan summaries for stakeholders
  • Collaborates with Application Owner(s) on mid-term and long-term strategy for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tool adoption efforts across groups of applications
  • Monitors and responds to aggregate alert trends across application and infrastructure key performance indicators (KPI) for the service supporting CI/CD services
  • Works with Infrastructure and Solutions Engineers to prioritize and propose new features and capabilities for CI/CD service platform that fosters increased automation across a group of applications or line of business
  • Responds to risk or audit identified issues with access control processed designed for compliance with firm separation of duties practices and software release management standards, and policies
  • Works with Site Reliability and Infrastructure Engineers to reconcile and integrate planned CI/CD service platform changes across the monitoring, alerting, forecasting, and reporting functions

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ year experience with Windows 2019/2022, IIS, .Net application integration in large complex environments
  • Application support, ensuring stability for high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications in a production environment
  • Hands-on experience with DEVOPS on Windows Operating Systems, System Administration and Automation
  • Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework & DEVOPS using XLR/Ansible
  • Hands on experience with Application Middleware (.Net, IIS, JRE, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Environment Management skills on WINDOWS Servers
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows environment
  • Basic understanding and troubleshoot experience of multi-tier applications, Networking, SQL
  • Good working knowledge of CI/CD Process. like Ansible, Jira, XLR, etc.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$119,400.00 - $165,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
