We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Privacy Consultant to support day-to-day Privacy Operations, ROPA management, stakeholder coordination, governance tracking, and privacy program administration activities. The role will act as support function for Data Privacy implementation initiatives across business and functional clusters, ensuring timely tracking of deliverables, management reporting, training coordination, and privacy operations support.

The consultant will work closely with Data Protection Office, Business, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and functional stakeholders to facilitate privacy program implementation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Privacy Operations Support

• Review and validate Data Fiduciary (DF) and Data Processor (DP) arrangements submitted by business teams and support confirmation activities
• Provide guidance and explanation on Product-related ROPA templates to business and operational teams.
• Support stakeholders with vendor assessment template interpretation and completion requirements.
• Conduct consistency and quality checks on purpose statements and privacy-related verbiage uploaded on the privacy platform.
• Track privacy deliverables across business units and ensure timely closure of pending actions.
• Support BAU privacy operations and respond to user queries, FAQs, and operational requests.
• Monitor and track privacy-related exceptions and support remediation follow-ups.

ROPA Management & Platform Administration

• Support maintenance and administration of the ROPA platform.
• Coordinate onboarding and access requests for new ROPA users.
• Assist users with platform navigation, process understanding, and issue resolution.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency within the privacy management platform.
• Support periodic reviews and updates of processing records.

Project Coordination & Tracking

• Track privacy projects and implementation activities across functional clusters.
• Maintain project trackers, action logs, dependency trackers, and status updates.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain updates and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Escalate delays, risks, and dependencies to the privacy leadership team where required.
• Support governance review meetings and maintain meeting minutes and action trackers.

Management Reporting & Governance Support

• Prepare presentations, dashboards, and status reports for Data Privacy Implementation governance Committee, Steering Committee Meetings, Board Oversight Committees (BOC) and Senior Management Reviews
• Develop and maintain privacy MIS reports, metrics, and status dashboards.
• Assist in consolidation of privacy program progress reports across business functions.

Training & Awareness Coordination

• Coordinate privacy training activities and awareness initiatives.
• Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and completion reports.
• Prepare and circulate training MIS and management reports.
• Support communication and engagement activities related to privacy awareness programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, Commerce, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Program Management Office (PMO), Governance Support, Risk & Compliance Operations, Privacy Operations, Data Governance, or Regulatory Support functions.
• Experience in stakeholder coordination, reporting, MIS preparation, and project tracking activities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in supporting Data Privacy, Data Protection, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, or Regulatory programs.
• Experience working with ROPA management processes and privacy platforms.
• Exposure to DPDP Act, Privacy Governance, or Data Protection initiatives.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with workflow tracking tools such as PowerBI, Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
