About this Data Engineer with German role at DXC Technology

About the role:
We are looking for a Data Engineer with hands-on Snowflake experience and fluent German to join a project for a major Swiss transportation client.
Qualifications & experience:
Several years’ experience (3–5 years) as a Data Engineer, including in-depth practical experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse
Excellent SQL skills and experience in data modelling (ELT, dimensional modelling)
In-depth experience with dbt (development, testing and deployment of models)
Proficiency in using Git (branching strategies, pull requests; we use Bitbucket)
Basic understanding of containerization and deployment concepts in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
Experience with CI/CD workflows, e.g. Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI or similar; understanding of automated builds, tests and deployments
Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation
Good command of German (minimum B2)
Nice to have:
Experience with Azure services as an infrastructure layer (in particular Azure Key Vault, Entra ID, Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory)
Experience with Helm Charts and Artifactory
Experience with Argo Workflows or comparable orchestration tools would be an advantage
Expertise in working with finance/investment data products
Experience in business analysis and requirements engineering
