About this Customer Service Representative role at Waste Connections
GreenWaste of Tehama | Red Bluff, CA
Are you someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and staying organized? We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team and help support customers throughout Tehama County.
This role is the first point of contact with many of our customers. You'll answer questions, help set up or update services, process payments, and work closely with our operations team to make sure customer needs are handled quickly and professionally.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $22-$23 per hour, depending on experience
What You'll Do
- Answer customer phone calls and emails.
- Help customers start, stop, or change their service.
- Process payments and update customer accounts.
- Create work requests and coordinate with field staff.
- Resolve customer concerns and answer billing questions.
- Maintain accurate records and customer information.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service every day.
What We're Looking For
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office programs.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
