Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, Design and develop omnichannel customer journeys on Adobe Journey Optimizer. Manages the offshore AJO developer team and delivers journeys to the Orchestration PM.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Model and develop customer journeys in AJO (email, push, SMS, in-app, web) from received specifications
- Lead and mentor offshore AJO developers
- Develop AJO integrations with RTCDP, AEM and communication systems
- Implement decisioning rules (Decision Management / Offer Library)
- Set up A/B tests and produce journey performance reports
- Document developments and escalate arbitration points to the Orchestration PM

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Adobe Journey Optimizer – Journey Canvas: unitary events, audience qualifications, business rule triggers, wait / split / end nodes
- AJO Channels: email configuration (subdomains, IP pools, frequency rules), SMS (Sinch/Twilio aggregators), push (APNS/FCM), in-app, web channel, direct mail
- AJO Content Designer: drag & drop email designer, personalization with Expression Editor (Helper Functions, inline Offer Decisioning)
- Decision Management: offer catalog, collections, eligibility rules (profile attributes, contextual events), ranking models (formulas, AI models), global/per-profile capping
- Advanced personalization: AJO Expression Language (Handlebars-based), AEP computed attributes, nested XDM object lookup
- AJO APIs: Authoring API (programmatic journey creation), Interactive Message Execution API (real-time transactional messages)
- AJO AEP integration: streaming segment triggers, ExperienceEvents, real-time profile attributes
- AJO Target integration: web/app personalization via Target + AEP profile data
- AJO Reporting: Global Report vs Live Report, delivery and engagement metrics, Customer Journey Analytics for deep analysis
- Fatigue and marketing pressure management: global and per-channel frequency rules
- Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Journey Optimizer Developer (mandatory)
- Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Journey Optimizer Business Practitioner (recommended)
- Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Real-Time CDP (recommended for AEP integration)

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5+ years in marketing automation/CRM, hands-on AJO or Marketo/SFMC experience, REST APIs and real-time integrations, offshore team management.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
