Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies and modern frameworks to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Your work focuses on meeting unique business requirements by continuously refining and enhancing software performance and functionality, contributing to the overall success of projects and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Maintain and update existing software components to improve reliability and performance.
- Document software designs, processes, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Life Sciences R&D.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on software development within life sciences contexts.
- Experience working with modern software development frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code tailored to specific business needs.
- Familiarity with software testing and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Life Sciences R&D.
- This position is based at our INDC2A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
