About the Role
As a Performance Creative Specialist, you will serve as a strategic partner at the intersection of creative and data. You’ll join Taboola’s global Creative Shop, working hands-on to translate data into sharp, actionable creative briefs, produce high-performing assets (copy, images, videos, and landing pages), and relentlessly A/B test them to optimize campaigns for our internal User Acquisition team.

Taboola’s Creative Shop is a global team of strategists, designers, data analysts, copywriters, and video editors who support our most valued clients and internal teams with creative direction and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Briefing & Execution: Translate internal and external data into actionable best practices and clear creative briefs for the studio, video editors, designers, and external vendors.
- Asset & Campaign Optimization: Lead the strategy for optimizing campaign assets (copy, images, videos, and landing pages) using A/B testing frameworks to ensure they hit the mark across different platforms.
- Knowledge Sharing: Create and deliver educational materials (webinars, internal briefings) for both internal teams and external clients to share creative insights and best practices.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with performance marketing and in-house media buying teams to monitor and iterate on creative strategy for Taboola’s internal user acquisition efforts.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and communicate the business impact of creative strategy initiatives (e.g., spend uplift, CTR/CVR improvements).

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a performance creative, creative strategy, or ad-creative role within digital advertising.
- Strong understanding of global digital media buying, ad platforms (TikTok, FB, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), landing page performance, and content marketing.
- Demonstrated success in using data and testing frameworks to drive creative decisions.
- Familiarity with user acquisition funnel strategies, especially for in-house growth teams.
- Experience working with or implementing generative AI tools in creative workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously in a global, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for sharing insights with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Fluent in English – verbal and written communication.
- Working Scope & Engagement: This position is an independent contractor engagement billed against tax invoices (Hesbonit Mas). The regular full-time commitment is based on a standard 42-hour workweek (or ~182 monthly hours across 5 days, scaled down to ~145 monthly hours for a 4-day scope), calculated and paid at an agreed hourly rate upon receipt of monthly time logs and invoices.
