About this Construction Project Manager – Luxury Villa Construction role at Agent
Job Title: Construction Project Manager – Luxury Villa Construction
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: 40 hours/week, aligned with US Central Time
Compensation: $1,500–$2,500 USD/month, depending on experience
Location: Latin America / Central America
About the Role
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to take ownership of a high-end luxury villa construction project in the Caribbean.
This is a dedicated remote role focused on procurement, scheduling, logistics, subcontractor coordination, and project execution. Because the project is located on an island, materials, finishes, and equipment often require significant lead times and careful coordination. The ideal candidate understands that a missed shipment or delayed material can impact the project by weeks.
This is not a general administrative or operations PM role. We need someone with genuine construction project management experience who can independently manage the moving parts of a complex build from a remote location.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement for construction materials, finishes, equipment, and other project needs.
Track material availability, lead times, orders, shipments, and deliveries.
Coordinate shipping, customs, delivery schedules, and staging for an island-based jobsite.
Develop, maintain, and update the project schedule.
Sequence trades and subcontractors while keeping the project on its critical path.
Identify potential delays and supply-chain issues before they impact the schedule.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, project staff, and other stakeholders remotely.
Support pre-construction activities and ensure projects are properly prepared for execution.
Maintain accurate project calendars, schedules, procurement trackers, and documentation.
Provide regular project progress updates to company leadership.
Communicate directly with vendors and trades by phone, email, and other communication channels.
Independently follow up on outstanding items and ensure commitments are completed.
Help maintain confidentiality and follow appropriate remote-access and project security procedures.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in construction project management, including both pre-construction and active project scheduling.
Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project timelines.
Strong procurement and logistics experience, particularly with long-lead materials.
Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and project dependencies.
Fluent conversational English with strong phone and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage a construction project remotely without constant supervision.
Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
Comfortable communicating with trades, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.
Able to work full-time and remain dedicated to this project/company.
Strongly Preferred
Experience with luxury residential, custom home, villa, resort, or hospitality construction.
Experience working on island or remote-location construction projects.
Experience coordinating international shipping, customs, or remote-site logistics.
Experience working with high-end finishes and materials where quality and timing are critical.
Project Engineer experience with strong project coordination responsibilities will also be considered.
