Position Overview
Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starters for these technically sophisticated and challenging Linux computer engineering positions.  Engineering Co-ops may assemble and cable computer based systems, configure servers, perform integration testing and validation, and work on system foundation components (such as building Linux system images and developing power management scripts).  All work is performed and executed in a Linux OS environment.  All work is directly applicable to actual military training systems.  Co-op students will gain invaluable, real-world experience on state-of-the-art computer-based systems.  This co-op rotation will start in January 2027 and conclude in August 2027.  Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple co-op experiences.

Basic Qualifications:
• You will be participating in the development of large scale computer based training systems and you MUST be able to learn and apply advanced computer engineering skills and techniques.
• You MUST be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented enviroment.
• You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op.  

Education: You MUST be Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical degree, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be able to demonstrate solid Linux and computer engineering skills.

Citizenship: You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance.  Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.


Experience: No past experience is required, however you will be working in a professional environment and contributing to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy.  Therefore, you must be dedicated to producing quality work results, and must be extremely attentive to detail.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
