About this Call Centre Agent role at Remote Recruitment
Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month
Remote Recruitment is hiring a Call Centre Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will be the first voice UK customers hear, handling inbound calls end to end.
Role overview
You'll work a queue of inbound calls for a UK business, answering questions, solving problems on the first call where you can, and logging every interaction accurately so the next person picking up the file knows exactly where things stand.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls during UK business hours
- Resolve routine queries at first contact and escalate the rest with clear notes
- Log calls, outcomes and follow-up actions in the CRM
- Meet call quality and handling-time targets
- Keep customer records accurate and up to date
What you'll need
- Experience handling inbound calls in a call centre or customer service team
- Clear, neutral spoken English and confident phone manner
- Familiarity with a CRM or ticketing system such as Zendesk, Freshdesk or Salesforce
- A quiet home workspace and stable fibre connection
- Comfortable working UK hours
Nice to have
- Experience supporting UK or international customers
- Familiarity with Five9, Genesys or similar dialler software
- Experience in a regulated sector such as finance or insurance

- 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday
