About this Business Analyst - Intermediate role at Vista Group
This is an Intermediate level Business Analyst role. You will execute global compliance initiatives with precision and clarity. Ensuring timely, audience-specific communication and coordination across legal, product, engineering, and executive teams. This role is action-oriented, process-driven, and helps maintain trust by balancing urgency with business priorities.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions, bringing together business users, developers, testers, architects, and other technical specialists.
- Analyse and translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
- Facilitate backlog refinement and grooming sessions, ensuring stories are well understood, appropriately sized, prioritised, and ready for development.
- Act as the primary bridge between business and technology teams, resolving ambiguity and ensuring a shared understanding of requirements and expected outcomes.
- Investigate business and system problems, perform root-cause analysis, and work with stakeholders and technical teams to identify practical solution options.
- Develop and maintain high-quality business and functional documentation, including workflows, storyboards, user journeys, process diagrams, business rules, and requirements specifications.
- Manage requirements throughout the SDLC, supporting developers and testers during design, development, testing, UAT, release, and implementation.
- Identify and manage requirements dependencies, risks, assumptions, constraints, and scope changes, communicating their potential impact to stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Provide constructive recommendations and challenge requirements when appropriate, balancing user needs, business value, technical feasibility, risk, and delivery constraints.
