Role Overview

We are seeking a Banking & Finance Delivery Consultant to join Tangspac Search’s high-performing recruitment team. This role focuses on candidate delivery, talent sourcing, screening, market mapping, and supporting end-to-end recruitment mandates for banking and financial services clients. The successful candidate will work closely with senior consultants and account owners to identify, engage, and manage quality candidates across permanent, contract, and staff augmentation assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for banking and financial services roles across front, middle, and back office functions.
- Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline in areas such as risk, compliance, AML/KYC, audit, finance, operations, client services, documentation, product control, trade finance, wealth management, asset management, and securities services.
- Conduct structured candidate interviews to assess experience, motivations, availability, compensation expectations, and suitability for client roles.
- Prepare candidate shortlists, profiles, and submission notes for review by consultants and clients.
- Brief candidates on role requirements, client expectations, interview processes, and career opportunities.
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, manage candidate follow-ups, and support offer management through to placement and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, search activity, pipeline updates, and market intelligence in the recruitment database.
- Conduct market mapping and talent research to support active assignments and business development opportunities.
- Develop long-term candidate relationships and strengthen Tangspac’s reputation as a trusted specialist recruitment partner.
- Work collaboratively with consultants to ensure timely delivery, strong candidate experience, and high-quality recruitment outcomes.

Requirements

- CEI Certified.
- Prior experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, research, resourcing, banking operations, financial services, or client-facing delivery is preferred.
- Strong interest in banking and financial services recruitment, with the curiosity to learn market terminology, role structures, and hiring trends.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage candidates professionally and confidently.
- Strong sourcing capability using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, database search, and direct approach methods.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
- Commercial mindset with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and delivery discipline.
- Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to partner effectively with consultants, clients, and candidates.
