As an Automation, API and Integration Testing - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality engineering within our Technology Consulting practice. You will focus on implementing leading standards in software development and testing processes, using your experience to identify and resolve defects, optimize performance, and enhance user experience. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your skills in software and product innovation to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. You will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. By interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations, you will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, contributing to the overall strategy and success of our projects.

Responsibilities

- Implementing quality engineering practices to enhance software development and testing processes
- Identifying and resolving defects to optimize software performance and user experience
- Conducting functional, compatibility, and performance testing to validate software quality
- Utilizing Selenium and other tools for browser automation and software testing
- Designing and managing quality assurance processes to maintain software standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and support post-go-live activities
- Developing test cases and protocols to guide software testing efforts
- Reporting defects and providing feedback to improve software quality and reliability
- Embracing change and adapting to evolving client needs and project requirements
- Building meaningful client relationships and managing stakeholder expectations effectively

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics
- Utilizing Quality Assurance Engineering methodologies to enhance software reliability
- Demonstrating proficiency in Selenium for browser automation testing
- Excelling in systems integration testing to validate seamless functionality
- Developing insights through data interpretation to inform strategic decisions
- Navigating complex client relationships with effective communication skills

Prior hands-on experience validating software application is a must 

End-to-end scenario validation (inbound/outbound flows, receipts, timeouts, second-round routing/rollover) 

Negative and manual-intervention paths (approval/repair/reconciliation, compliance timeouts, accounting retries/compensations) 

Performance/SLA testing for instant payments; multi-scheme regression coverage 

Strong understanding of API testing tools with a strong preference for Cucumber 

Experience using SOAP UI/SmartBear or Postman 

Experience testing MQ (Message Queues) 

Detail oriented with strong communication skill to work with BAs, architects and developers 

Experience working with defect tracking tools with preference given to Jira
