As an Audit Manager in our Ballarat office, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading audit engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring a high-performing team. You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where your ideas matter and your growth is a priority.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing multiple audit engagements across a variety of sectors
Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
Coaching and developing junior team members
Identifying and resolving technical accounting and audit issues
Contributing to business development, tenders, and presentations
Collaborating with Partners and Directors on business unit strategy and operations
About you:
We are seeking an experienced audit professional who has a strong technical understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures, paired with excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident in managing multiple priorities and mentoring team members, you'll bring a proactive approach to client service and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Essential
5-7 years' experience audit experience
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong prioritising skills
Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Detailed working knowledge and application of Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards and other applicable legislation
Desirable
