Overview
Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Associate Product Manager (Multiple Openings). Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
About the Job
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, analytics, and marketing to drive product features from ideation to execution.
Duties include:
- Designing, developing, and integrating innovative features and design techniques to optimize and scale various components of the Instacart platform;
- Analyzing existing systems, user research, and business needs to define product requirements and technical roadmaps;
- Using data analysis and other quantitative methods to measure product performance, inform strategy, and optimize user experiences;
- Executing technical research, usability studies, functional experiments, and reviews of industry-standard methodologies to identify new product opportunities in line with overall company goals;
- Monitoring and communicating product development timelines, benefits, results, and key metrics to internal and external stakeholders;
- Other duties as assigned.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related (or foreign equivalent).
- 12 months of experience in the job offered or related.
- 12 months of experience using quantitative research, case studies, functional experiments, and user feedback to identify opportunities to optimize and improve technical product features
- 12 months of experience developing relevant metrics and KPIs to measure performance for large-scale software products
- 12 months of experience working with data analysis and experimentation techniques including stimulation and A/B testing
- 12 months of experience using SQL or similar analytical tools to extract meaningful user insights.
