What you’ll do
As an Associate in our Asset Performance & Assurance team based in our Melbourne Office Location, you'll play a key leadership role in growing our business, developing our people, and helping clients navigate some of their most complex infrastructure and asset challenges. You'll combine strategic advisory expertise with strong commercial and operational leadership to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and communities.
- Build trusted client relationships and act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, helping shape decisions and deliver lasting value.
- Lead and grow a portfolio of work by identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and winning new business aligned to client needs and market priorities.
- Provide operational and people leadership, developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and capability building.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex programs and advisory engagements that balance client outcomes, commercial performance, and delivery excellence.
- Contribute to Aurecon's market presence through thought leadership, industry relationships, and sharing expertise that strengthens our reputation and future growth.
What you’ll bring
- Significant experience in management consulting, advisory, or professional services, with experience leading complex client engagements and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated operational and people leadership capability, including developing teams, building capability, and creating an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Strong business development and client engagement skills, with a track record of winning work, leading pursuits, and growing trusted client relationships.
- Experience within a leading consulting environment, ideally from a notable consulting firm
- Preferred experience working in one or more of the Water, Transport, Defence, or Energy sectors and/or a background in engineering, infrastructure, or related disciplines.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while balancing client, delivery, and business priorities.
