About the Team

The German Client Services unit is part of the global Personal Investing and Advisory Client Services organization.
Client Services plays a key role in supporting our clients. The department’s vision is to provide clients and advisers with a seamless, connected experience whenever and however they choose to engage with us.

Your Role

As part of our Bereavement Team, you will review and evaluate incoming requests related to the team's specialist areas and ensure they are processed in a structured and efficient manner.
You will work closely with clients, their authorized representatives, and internal advisers, supporting them in handling sensitive matters such as:
• Bereavement cases
• Guardianship and legal care cases
• Garnishments and account attachments
• Insolvency proceedings
Managing emotionally and legally sensitive matters requires a high level of empathy, responsibility, and a solid understanding of the relevant legal framework.
In addition to daily case management, you will actively contribute to projects and working groups, helping to optimize processes and workflows while supporting the digitalization and automation of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process incoming requests from heirs, pledge creditors, legal guardians, and clients in a structured manner.
• Review authorization and entitlement documentation for financial transactions.
• Monitor, approve, and instruct outstanding payments.
• Develop, evaluate, and support process improvement initiatives to enhance the customer journey.
• Actively contribute to innovative projects involving new products, processes, and technologies, while continuously improving communication channels and client service delivery.

About You

• Preferably completed banking apprenticeship/training or a degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Fluent German language skills (professional/business level).
• Confidence, strong customer focus, and empathy.
• Experience handling estate/bereavement cases or other sensitive client matters is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to quality assurance and risk awareness.
• Excellent team player with a strong customer and service orientation.
