Role Overview 

The Assistant Manager, Employee & Corporate Communications provides operational and project support across employee communications, corporate communications, content development and stakeholder engagement activities. 

The role works closely with the Senior Manager, Employee Communications & Brand and Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, to ensure communications programmes are delivered effectively and consistently both internally and externally. 

The position provides a critical execution layer for the Group Communications team and supports content publishing, communications reporting, research, coordination and campaign delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

Employee Communications Support 

  • Support delivery of employee communications campaigns. 

  • Assist with global cascade materials and communication packs. 

  • Manage publishing across internal platforms including SharePoint and Viva Engage. 

  • Support development of employee newsletters and intranet content. 

  • Coordinate leadership communication materials where required. 

Corporate Communications Support 

  • Monitor media coverage and maintain reporting dashboards. 

  • Support journalist and stakeholder database management. 

  • Assist with media monitoring and research. 

  • Maintain awards, conference and partnership trackers. 

  • Assist with executive profiling and LinkedIn content support. 

Content & Digital Support 

  • Support website publishing and content updates. 

  • Coordinate approvals for articles and communications assets. 

  • Assist with content gathering, story sourcing and research. 

  • Maintain content libraries and communications repositories. 

Analytics & Reporting 

  • Compile communications performance reports. 

  • Track media, employee communications and social media metrics. 

  • Support reporting on awards, conferences and sponsorship activities. 

  • Maintain communications dashboards and trackers. 

Project Coordination 

  • Coordinate timelines and approvals across multiple stakeholders. 

  • Support communication campaigns and major events. 

  • Maintain project plans and action trackers. 

  • Provide administrative support for communications initiatives. 

Requirements 

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media or related discipline. 

  • At least 3 years' experience in communications, marketing or content-related roles. 

  • Strong writing and coordination skills. 

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint and digital channels. 

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
