About the Role

Responsible for driving AIA's Life Insurance business in partner bank branches. IS will conduct financial planning analysis with customers, recommend suitable life insurance products, and ensure sales targets are met, while complying with regulations and business processes

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as frontline life insurance sales staff in bank branch. selling life and health insurance products either in-branch sales or at customer's location
  • Conduct Financial Needs Analysis and identify customer's insurance needs; subsequently recommending life and health insurance products to best suit their needs
  • Ensure sales targets are being met, while working closely with bank staff to optimize sales
  • Build relationship and collaborate with bank staff to build a strong pipeline of insurance prospects / leads
  • Work closely with the AIA's sales manager and bank staff to identify opportunities to increase sales and customer retention
  • Work closely with AIA's sales manager and participate in joint visits to improve sales skills and drive performance
  • Provide quality customer service and after-sales services to maintain customer relationships (servicing, claims, complaints, etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to sales quality and compliance standards
  • Prepare periodic reports to update sales manager on sales progress and opportunities for improvement in branches

Financial and Non-Financial Measures

  • Financial Measures:

    • Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets (premium volume, number of policies sold).
    • Conversion rate from leads to closed sales.
    • Revenue contribution from assigned bank branches.
    • Persistency ratio of sold policies.
  • Non-Financial Measures:

    • Quality of Financial Needs Analysis conducted.
    • Customer satisfaction and feedback scores.
    • Compliance with regulatory and internal sales standards.
    • Collaboration effectiveness with bank staff and internal teams.
    • Timeliness and accuracy of reporting and documentation.

Communication Requirements

Communication with both internal and external stakeholders

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably within the financial services industry (preferred)
  • Understanding of financial planning concepts and practices.
  • Sales and customer service-oriented mindset
  • High-performer and target driven
  • Excellent verbal / written communication & interpersonal skills
  • Team player with excellent relationship building skills
