About this Air / Ocean Back End Operator role at Rhenus
What You Can Expect:
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Assisting internal customers & operations team with shipment handling
• Processing booking documentation, transport management system (TMS) data entry and financial accruals
• Ensure timely and proper setting of milestones/ status codes with a target of 100% data quality
• Preparation and transfer of documentation
• Handling different types of shipment: Back-to-Back, Direct Master, Consolidation, etc
• Strict meeting of timeframes for shipment handling to different countries
What You Bring:
Knowledge & Experience:
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, specifically with Air / Ocean Freight forwarding
• Excellent data entry skills with high level of accuracy
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
Skills & Attributes:
• Good proficiency in use of office systems and experience with Logistics TMS or ERP systems
• Professional working attitude with sense of responsibility
• Accuracy & detailed driven work ethic
• Work independently and as a virtual team player (part of global team)
• Highly trainable and approachable
