Accounts Payable Associate
Location: Manchester
Hybrid Working – 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for providing effective, efficient financial and administrative operations. To be responsible for ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded correctly and payments are completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

What you will do:
- Process daily automated and manual payments through SAP and online banking, effectively managing workload to ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
- Manage and resolve queries from internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all financial controls are followed, evidenced appropriately, and supported by accurate documentation in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Monitor and review Accounts Payable processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, resolving payment issues, and supporting continuous process efficiency.
- Investigate, track, and resolve escalations
What we are looking for:
- Proficient in Excel and experienced using ERP systems, including SAP.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and confident approach.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage workloads, take accountability, and deliver against individual and team objectives.
- Proactive and adaptable, seeking continuous process improvements, embracing change, leveraging diverse perspectives, and using KPIs to drive performance and recognise success.
