The Role

As an Accounting & Loan Monitoring Specialist you will be responsible for managing accounting records, reconciling financial transactions, and monitoring loans, including payments, interest, outstanding balances, and potential overdue amounts. The role also involves preparing financial reports, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the Finance and Accounting teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor consumer loans issued for customer purchases through our stores

• Track loan disbursements and record all related transactions accurately in the accounting system

• Communicate regularly with store personnel and partner banks to coordinate and follow up on the loan process
• Identify and resolve any delays or issues related to disbursements
• Ensure correct matching of payments and related invoices
• Reconcile loan-related accounts and ensure data accuracy
• Prepare regular reports on loan disbursements, balances, and related financial activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and proper financial recording

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role (experience with loan handling will be considered an asset)
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively with different teams
