What You Can Expect to Do

Our ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining sterility, organization, and efficiency in the surgical suite. Our team members understand that behind every successful surgery is meticulous preparation and attention to detail. They are motivated, reliable, and proactive individuals who work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are eager to learn specialty surgical procedures and protocols.

As the Surgery Pack & Prep Assistant, responsibilities include:

• cleaning, assembling, labeling, and sterilizing surgical instrument packs
• maintaining surgical suite cleanliness, organization, and readiness for procedures
• assisting with pre-operative patient preparation as directed
• operating and maintaining sterilization equipment
• restocking and tracking surgical supplies
• accurately documenting sterilization and inventory logs

What You Have

• Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or surgical setting is preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable around animals, with a passion for their health and well being
