About the Client
A premier global provider of cloud-based investment management software. The organization delivers a flagship platform that automates front- and middle-office operations, including portfolio management, compliance, and order execution. Today, the system supports thousands of investment professionals globally, streamlining workflows and managing massive asset portfolios across institutional, wealth, and insurance sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support enterprise SaaS application upgrades from planning through production deployment.
- Configure, deploy, validate, and troubleshoot enterprise applications throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
- Execute SQL queries to investigate production issues, validate deployments, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and support application analysis.
- Support batch processing, enterprise schedulers, and script execution as part of upgrade and production support activities.
- Participate in cutover planning, go/no-go decision making, rollback procedures, and hypercare support following production deployments.
- Troubleshoot application issues across databases, integrations, middleware, and enterprise workflows.
- Validate application functionality before and after deployments to ensure successful implementation.
- Perform root cause analysis using logs, SQL queries, and application diagnostics.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to coordinate technical deliverables and resolve implementation challenges.
- Develop technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational runbooks, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, operational efficiency, and application reliability.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience supporting enterprise applications in Application Management, Production Support, Release Management, or SaaS Upgrade environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end enterprise application upgrade projects.
- Proven experience with application deployments, deployment validation, and production support.
- Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Sybase to troubleshoot application and data issues.
- Experience supporting batch processing, enterprise schedulers, and script execution.
- Experience supporting application integrations, middleware, and enterprise workflows.
- Experience participating in production cutovers, rollback planning, go/no-go decisions, and hypercare support.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise application lifecycle management and software deployment methodologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms or mission-critical business applications.
- Experience within Investment Management, Capital Markets, Asset Management, Financial Services, or Trading Platforms is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of production support, environment management, deployment strategies, and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced client environments.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Extensive collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently while driving complex technical initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Charles River IMS (CRIMS) environments.
- Experience with enterprise scheduling platforms and batch automation tools.
- Experience with deployment automation and release management processes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and XML.
- Experience working with enterprise monitoring and application observability tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Economics, or a related technical discipline.
