Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) – Must be able to work from the FIRST New York office and reside within the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, or CT).
What You Would Get To Do
Strategy is not a product, it’s fuel. It’s about making a set of decisions before the razzle and dazzle of creative and design gets going. The decisions are based on key insights about the people we are aiming to influence. Strategy sets the scene and steers the way for a project’s creative and strategic direction. Supporting a small but mighty Strategy department, the role will suit a self-starter and someone who can adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Writing, attention to detail and project management skills are a prerequisite, as is someone who is a confident communicator. The tasks and nature of the work will vary between internal projects linked to pitches, proposals and industry research. Therefore we are looking for someone who can write well, with creativity and the ability to edit their own work and adapt styles based on the task at hand. Creative collaboration skills and lateral thinking abilities are a bonus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Strategy team in day-to-day coordination and completion of tasks and projects
- Schedule, help structure and participate in team meetings and brainstorms
- Maintain the company’s and departmental standard operating procedures
- Taking notes, documenting key actions and providing post-meeting summaries and minutes
- Structuring, developing and writing pitch decks, proposals and other presentations
- Proofing, editing and elevating written work including pitch decks and proposals
- Up-keep of templates, proposal library, creative documents in department database
- Research of client sectors, event audiences and general industry landscapes
- Participate in proposal response structure meetings including: creative and strategic approach, ideation, team roles and responsibility assignments, team check-ins, final review sessions, etc.
- Supporting content development in relation to internal and wider Global Creative Studio meetings

- Working towards a degree in Advertising, Event Management, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Understanding of different marketing techniques and the creative process
- Prior events experience or working within a creative environment is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite;
- Excellent project management skills, including multi-tasking, prioritization of tasks (i.e. time management), attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong research and organizational skills.
- A self-starter who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take direction well.
- Graphics/Photoshop experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to adapt to different situations, personalities, and requests.
- A calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress.
- Creative problem solver.
- Team player able to liaise with other members of the team.
- Should exert sound judgement, discretion and preserve confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail.

United States Residents: Bachelor's degree candidates (current students or graduates) are eligible for $20/hour, and Master's degree candidates (current students or graduates) are eligible for $25/hour.
