What you'll do
You will be the person responsible for connecting Clara's Corporate Travel vertical to the industry ecosystem, acting as a strategic and consultative partner to clients who already know this dynamic closely.
In this role, you will:
- Build Credibility Fast: Walk into any conversation with companies in the sector — agencies, tour operators, consolidators, TMCs, Travel Techs, or GDSs — speaking the same language as the client from day one.
- Act as a Strategic Partner: Understand each client's strategy, business model, and specific challenges, translating that understanding into opportunities for growth and value creation.
- Manage Strategic Accounts: Strengthen long-term relationships through a consultative approach, adapting your work to the reality of each client profile within the ecosystem.
- Navigate Financial Challenges: Support clients on topics such as settlement, supplier payments, working capital, credit, and operational efficiency/cash management.
- Drive End-to-End Value: Operate within Clara's Corporate Travel vertical with enough depth to generate impact from the very first client interactions.
Who you are
“We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.”
Must haves:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years working within the Corporate Travel ecosystem, at companies such as corporate travel agencies, tour operators, consolidators, TMCs, Travel Techs, GDSs, or other companies within the industry's value chain.
- Deep Ecosystem Knowledge: Understanding of how different business models operate, how key players connect and generate value with one another, and the commercial, operational, and financial challenges faced by each client profile.
- Consultative Profile: Strong strategic account management capability, with a track record of turning business understanding into growth and long-term relationships.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of settlement processes, supplier payments, working capital, credit, and operational cash flow.
- Communication: Fluent in English.
Nice to haves:
- CRM Tools: Familiarity with CRM tools for account and pipeline management.
- Automation: Experience or familiarity with automation infrastructure tools like Amplemarket or N8N.
- Languages: Basic proficiency in Spanish or a strong desire to learn it.
- Analytical Skills: Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python to evaluate portfolio health and data.
- A good sense of humor.

Clara’s Hybrid Policy
Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.
We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
