We are seeking an experienced Sr Business Intelligence SQL & Power BI to design, develop, and maintain a data architecture that supports enterprise-wide business intelligence and reporting initiatives. In this role, you will architect and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple diverse sources, transform complex datasets, and reporting solutions. You will work closely with analytics teams, business stakeholders, and database engineers to ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility while optimizing performance and maintainability.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design, data modeling, DAX, and report optimization. 
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise environments. 
• Expert-level SQL skills with deep knowledge of relational and cloud databases; ability to write optimized queries and design efficient data structures. 
• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). 
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, data governance, metadata management, and dimensional modeling. 
• Expertise in pipeline orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, alerting, error handling, and retry logic. 
• Proficiency in data transformation techniques, data validation, testing strategies, and data quality assurance. 
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. 
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Desirable, experience integrating data from diverse sources including databases, APIs, cloud storage, flat files, web services, and enterprise applications. 
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with architects, database engineers, QA teams, and business analysts. 
  
  Responsibilities
  
  Design and develop enterprise-level data solutions that support diverse reporting and analytics requirements across multiple business units.
• Develop and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that extract data from disparate sources, perform complex transformations, and load data into target systems.
• Build and maintain data models and dimensional schemas optimized for reporting and analytical queries.
• Create advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that deliver insights to executive leadership and operational teams.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards, validation rules, and data governance practices across all data pipelines.
• Configure scheduling, monitoring, alerting, and error handling mechanisms to ensure pipeline reliability and timely data availability.
• Perform analysis and optimization of ETL processes, database queries, and Power BI models to ensure cost-effectiveness and speed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and provide technical guidance on data architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, implementing sustainable solutions and documenting lessons learned.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to the data platform.
