BUSINESS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Business Analyst - with experience in integration and API design
This will include designing and building a reusable suite of APIs and integration services that allow these systems to interact with Dynamics in a controlled, scalable and supportable way.
The scope will include a significant amount of technical discovery, investigation and requirements elaboration. This is not expected to be a straightforward delivery against a fully defined set of requirements. The team will need to work closely with architects, product owners, subject matter experts and dependent application teams to understand current behaviors, define integration contracts, identify dependencies and shape the delivery backlog. So, they need a technical BA to help on discovery first.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Product -Managers, and delivery teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements
- Analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and propose value-driven digital solutions
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional/non-functional requirements
- Refine and prioritize backlog items with Product Owners, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, and ready for development
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals, product strategy, and delivery
- Support delivery teams by clarifying requirements, participating in solution validation, and ensuring delivered features meet business expectations
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Creating artifacts such as MVP definitions, product backlogs, roadmaps, and sprint backlogs in a clear and concise manner
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and decision-making
- Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements, and delivered outcomes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and Agile ways of working
