About the role

Entrupy is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who is excited about automating manual processes and can lead complex projects. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for automating the processes and workflows that can have a significant business impact by increasing the authentication team's efficiency and accuracy. You will need to have a strong understanding of both back-end and front-end development, as well as a willingness to learn new technologies quickly. In addition, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team that is spread across different time zones.

Some areas you will work on would include:

• • Creating image search systems - infrastructure for similarity searching tens of millions of images + metadata.
  • Creating tools to encode + expose knowledge for our authentication team (databases/CRMs)
  • Monitoring systems & other analytics work to help flag areas where our knowledge is lacking for our expert teams
  • Internal dashboards and customer support tools
  • Policy tracking and change management systems
  • Custom search systems and data investigation tools
  • Interfaces to explain machine learning and expert system output
  • Account management systems
  • Data annotation tools
  • Internal training platforms

Reports to: Engineering Manager
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

What You'll Do:

• Develop systems that follow modern design principles and are implemented using secure, flexible & scalable methodologies, promote a streamlined, collaborative environment & use efficient workflows while keeping focus on a positive user experience
• You’ll contribute reliable code across all phases of the development lifecycle, collaborating on product specifications and operational feasibility
• You’ll come up with ideas for projects to clean up technical debt and make it easier to develop in our codebases
• You’ll champion a balance between following good coding practices and delivering value for our customers quickly
• You’ll produce well-tested, extensible code that stands up to existing and future load requirements
• You’ll share your expertise in a thoughtful, no-ego way with all members of the team, coaching team members when needed
• Sheppard your contributions through peer review, testing, deployment, and finally monitoring in production

Who you are:

• Generalist with experience in web apps, backend services, and databases.
• 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Solid working knowledge of Python, and experience using it in backend services using Flask/Django/Fast API or similar web framework. 
• Experience with building front-end websites or tools using modern SPA frameworks like Vue/React.
• Experience with databases (Postgres, NoSQL, etc.)
• Experience working as the lead on various technical projects.
• Prior experience working in a startup-like environment
