We are seeking for a Senior Business and Data Analyst for our client from the banking sector.
Job description:
- Supported BCBS239-compliant data governance, documentation, and regulatory reporting initiatives related to securitisation.
- Documented end-to-end data lineage and data governance processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Executed and supported User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test automation activities.
- Analyzed and mapped business requirements to data and reporting solutions.
- Reviewed and validated data requirements, ensuring completeness and alignment with business needs.
- Provided support for data products, resolving data-related issues and enhancing data usability.
- Collaborated with Treasury, Product Owners, Business Intelligence, and IT teams to define accurate source-to-target mappings.
- Implemented and monitored data quality controls to improve data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Banking and regulatory reporting knowledge (COREP, ESMA securitisation reporting)
- Strong understanding of securitisation reporting structures
- SQL proficiency
- Experience working with DWVault and BDS queries
- Source-to-target data mapping
- Data quality testing and validation
- Data reconciliation
- Data governance and data lineage documentation
- Business process documentation
- BPMN 2.0
- Data dictionaries and glossary management
- Lineage diagram creation and maintenance
- Business requirements analysis and mapping
- UAT planning, execution, and documentation
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience documenting data models, reporting architecture, and data flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
