Responsibilities
- Label production; prioritizing, coordinating, communicating deadlines, constraints, opportunities.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on equipment, software, material, processes and proactively lend expertise to Sales Reps, Technicians and Customers.
- Manage manpower needs: coordinating shifts, approving overtime, requesting supplemental help as appropriate.
- Manage material inventory min/max and adjustments as needed.
- Equipment: minimize downtime and maximize productivity, following minimum required maintenance schedule.
- QAQC process: during and after label production to ensure proper quality, color, data, etc. prior to shipping.
- Shipping process; maintain and enhance the shipping/pick-up process.
- Always promote CL in positive light with customers and team.
- LEAN method implementation: find opportunities to increase efficiency and eliminate rework in the production process.
- Maintain and always enforce a safe working environment for self and technicians.
Qualifications
- Cultural fit—ability to build positive working relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Technical proficiency with various machines and software related to labels production.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on needs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
- Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 45lbs-50lbs.
- 3+ years of similar experience.
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
