Über diese Physician Outreach Specialist Stelle bei Journey Clinical
Journey Clinical is on a mission to transform the growing mental health crisis by accelerating the adoption of frontier treatments that lead to lasting improvements in clinical outcomes. We have built a turnkey healthtech platform to safely and effectively expand access to a powerful modality known as Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, starting with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). In our patient-centered collaborative care model, licensed psychotherapists in the network take on the psychotherapy, while Journey Clinical's in-house medical team takes on patient eligibility, treatment plan and outcome monitoring. Our platform gives psychotherapists passionate about PAP the infrastructure and support required to become empowered KAP providers, while enabling higher standards of patient care and enhanced clinical outcomes.
As part of this mission, Journey Clinical is building a national network of Spravato® (esketamine) treatment centers, helping patients with treatment-resistant depression access evidence-based, insurance-covered care close to home. As we rapidly expand our Spravato clinic network, we're looking for someone who loves building relationships, educating providers, and creating lasting referral partnerships that help more patients receive life-changing treatment.
About the Role
We're looking for a highly motivated Physician Outreach Specialist to build and grow referral relationships for our Spravato clinic network.
You'll spend your time meeting psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, hospital systems, behavioral health organizations, VA facilities, and other referral partners to educate them about our program and make it easy for appropriate patients to access treatment. This may occur in person, on Zoom, over the phone, at conferences… or all of the above.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being in the field, building trusted relationships, and helping providers understand complex patient care pathways.
What You'll Do
Build Referral Relationships
-
Develop relationships with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, therapists, psychologists, OBGYNs, and behavioral health providers
-
Visit provider offices throughout assigned markets, and represent Journey Clinical at networking events, trade shows, and conferences
-
Conduct lunch-and-learn educational sessions
-
Serve as the lead point of contact for local community groups — behavioral health non-profits, advocacy organizations, and municipal groups — and own the planning and execution of patient-focused community and education/outreach events
-
Become a trusted resource for referring providers and build long-term referral partnerships
-
Maintain a deep, current understanding of Journey Clinical's Spravato program and value proposition so you can speak to it confidently in the field
Grow Local Markets
-
Create outreach plans for newly launched clinics, and develop and continually refine a strategic plan for growing referrals over time
-
Identify high-value referral sources and prioritize outreach using data, market analysis, and observed referral patterns — adjusting your approach as trends emerge
-
Keep a pulse on competitor activity in your markets and factor it into how you position Journey Clinical with providers
-
Bring existing relationships with providers, and develop new ones with hospital systems and behavioral health organizations
Support the Referral Experience
-
Ensure referring providers have an exceptional experience end-to-end
-
Coordinate closely with our patient operations and clinical teams, and maintain strong working relationships across front office staff, patient intake, marketing, and other internal departments
-
Gather feedback from referral partners in the field and bring it back to the appropriate internal teams to help shape operational and service improvements
-
Improve referral workflows and communication
-
Act as the point of contact for ordering marketing materials for your clinics and field activity
Track Performance
-
Maintain CRM documentation, including daily logs of visits and relationship activity
-
Track referral activity and outcomes, and support the clinic's broader growth metrics (e.g., consults, new patient starts, no-show rates)
-
Monitor referral volume and provider engagement
-
Report on outreach metrics and opportunities
Who You Are
-
You have deep working knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (i.e., PHI and HIPAA)
-
You enjoy meeting people and building genuine relationships.
-
You're curious, organized, and proactive. You don't wait for referrals—you create them, and you create new opportunities if none exist (ie create and host a webinar or in person education session)
-
You understand that healthcare relationships are built through credibility, consistency, and trust.
-
You are equally comfortable meeting with a solo therapist, a psychiatry practice owner, or a hospital behavioral health director.
-
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
