Your Role
As a People Compliance Associate, you will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of people compliance processes across the organization. This role focuses on ensuring that employee lifecycle processes, HR policies, documentation, and people practices align with internal governance standards, labor regulations, and company policies.
You will work closely with People Business Partners, People Operations, Legal, Payroll, and business stakeholders to maintain compliance standards, identify risks, and support a seamless and compliant employee experience across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution and monitoring of people compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and checks across employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contracts, transfers, promotions, leave management, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation and ensure records are complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Support the review, maintenance, and communication of HR policies, guidelines, and employee handbooks.
- Monitor compliance with local labor laws and support the implementation of required process or policy updates.
- Partner with People Operations, Payroll, and Legal teams to ensure compliance with employment requirements, statutory obligations, and internal controls.
- Track compliance metrics, audit findings, and remediation plans, ensuring timely closure of identified gaps.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and maintaining compliance evidence.
- Assist in managing employee compliance activities, including mandatory trainings, policy acknowledgements, and awareness campaigns.
- Support HR systems compliance, including data accuracy, access controls, and employee data governance.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate compliance processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Expertise
- 3+ years of experience in People Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk, or a related field.
- Experience supporting people processes, compliance audits, documentation management, or policy governance is preferred.
