The Utility Worker is a key member of the culinary team at WCBR. They are responsible for washing pots, pans, plates, glassware, and silverware. They will also participate in maintaining sanitation standards in the work area. In all duties, they will ensure prescribed sanitation and safety standards are constantly practiced.
This is a part-time position with a starting pay range of $16.88 to $18.03 per hour. The shift options for this position are 8:00am to 4:30pm or 12:00pm to 8:30pm.
Responsibilities
Dishwashing: Properly pre-rinse, pre-soak, rinse, wash and sanitize each type of plate, silverware, pot, pan, utensil, and glassware.
Make certain that all chemicals and supplies are properly used and stored.
Clean work area after every meal preparation.
Assist in maintaining proper food handling and storage procedures in accordance with guidelines.
Assist with trash removal and disposal.
Qualifications
Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred.
Overall knowledge and skills required to complete standardized tasks and learned routines associated with clearly defined procedures.
Requirements
CPR Certification preferred (Can be obtained through WCBR)
High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
