About College Track

College Track is a comprehensive, 10-year college completion program dedicated to helping first-generation students from underserved communities overcome systemic obstacles on the path to a bachelor’s degree and a meaningful career.

What began in 1997 with just 25 students has grown into a national movement of more than 5,400 scholars and alumni across California, Colorado, Louisiana, and the D.C. Metro Area. Our scholars graduate from college at three times the national average for first-generation students. By age 30, our alumni earn an average of $89,823—outpacing the national median and proving the long-term economic mobility a degree unlocks.

The Opportunity

Managing a portfolio of 40–60 foundation and corporate partners across multiple markets, you will have the unique opportunity to develop deep expertise across two distinct and complementary fundraising functions.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Institutional Philanthropy, you will work closely with the Directors of Foundation and Corporate Partnerships to craft compelling narratives, manage a high-impact pipeline, and secure gifts ranging from $25,000 to $250,000+.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management & Cultivation: Manage and steward a diverse portfolio of 40–60 corporate and foundation partners, maintaining active communication pipelines with care and consistency.

  • Proposal Development & Grant Writing: In collaboration with the Grants Manager and Finance team, lead the writing, editing, and submission of high-quality proposals, concept papers, budgets, and impact reports.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with program staff and Executive Site Directors to coordinate funder site visits. Translate impact data and scholar success stories into powerful donor communications.

  • Operations & CRM Management: Track all fundraising activity, pipeline health, and institutional knowledge seamlessly within Salesforce to ensure strict grant compliance.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3–5 years of nonprofit development experience, with a proven track record of managing an institutional fundraising portfolio.

  • Exceptional Communication: Stellar writing and editing skills, with the ability to connect a program's ground-level impact to a funder’s philanthropic priorities.

  • Versatility: Comfort navigating both corporate and foundation fundraising spaces while managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Salesforce (or a comparable CRM) to leverage data for pipeline management.

  • Mission Alignment: A fierce advocacy for educational equity and a deep connection to College Track’s core values: Commitment, Passion, Joy, Authenticity, and Excellence.

  • Education & Travel: Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to travel across College Track’s multi-market footprint.
