Job Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety as a core principle
- Interpret work orders and blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Set-up and operate multi-axis CNC machining centers
- Ensuring proper machine adjustments
- Machine of quality parts for window & door manufacture
- Perform quality workmanship with dimensional accuracy
- Inspect completed parts according to specifications
- Document & report productivity and non-conforming records
- Perform secondary machining operations as needed
- Perform daily maintenance activities to machines as prescribed
- Maintain a clean and orderly machines & workstations
- Participate in and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
- Work professionally and positively with others to achieve a healthy and cohesive working relationship
- All other duties as assigned
Qualification/Education Requirements:
- Introductory skill level in CNC machining
- Ability to utilize various machine-shop measuring instruments helpful
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32” accuracy
- Appetite for a mechanical job role striving to deliver OEE (Optimal Equipment Effectiveness)
- Machining experience helpful
- Detail-oriented experience
- Computer familiarity
- Work structure organization skill
